Hello and welcome to the Sohma Shigure fan club ^_^

Shigure is from the beautiful and humorous anime Fruits Basket [Furuuba, in Japanese ]. He is the elder cousin and guardian of Yuki and Kyou Sohma, as well as the one responsible for Tohru living with the three Zodiac-cursed boys (seeing as he invited her to live with them in the first place).
Shigure is known for his strange attitude and the funny situations he gets into, as well as his occupation as a writer for unsaid novels. He also enjoys High School girls, especially the friends that Tohru invites over. But, despite his odd nature, he acts in selfless and kind ways towards the people he shelters and loves.
Because of the Zodiac curse that runs through the Sohma family, whenever Shigure is hugged or touched by the opposite sex, he turns into his zodiac sign -- the dog. Strange little detail there, but that's half the fun of his character.

NEW COMPETITION

We're both very sorry for being away for so long. Thanks everyone, for keeping in touch with the club.
So here's the plan: MAKE YEAR OF THE DOG FANART. It seems very appropriate since it is indeed the year of the dog. Either Shigure in his human or dog form, emphasize the fact that it's the year of the dog! Any color, medium and whatnot.
First, second, and third place will be given surprise prizes!
ART DEADLINE: July 27th, 2006. After that, I'll make a collage and we will vote through notes. Ready, set, GO!
